From the first time we connected, I knew this couple would be wonderful clients to work with. Their love story is heartfelt and genuine, blending together two families with 6 kids total and a large community supporting them. I was honored to capture their special weekend, starting with a beautiful welcome gathering at their home in Berkeley and culminating with a heartfelt and fun wedding at Pizzaiolo in Oakland!
The weekend started with a welcome gathering at their beautiful home in Berkeley, which culminated with a seder and thoughtful slideshow telling their story. The wedding day festivities were held at Pizzaiolo in Oakland, an award-winning restaurant. It offers a beautiful ambiance and a sun-filled back patio, where the ceremony took place. The couple and their immediate family partook in a ketubah signing before the ceremony. The ceremony itself was officiated by the bride and groom’s fathers.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour while I was able to capture group photos of the wedding party and family. Next, everyone moved inside for a delicious family-style dinner and incredibly heartfelt toasts. After dinner, they enjoyed a fun dance party featuring a saxophone performance by the bride’s brother and the hora. Overall, it was a spectacular wedding and I was grateful to be able to document all of the love and celebration.
