This was such a joyful outdoor family session at Piedmont Park here in the East Bay. This is a favorite place year round for family and couples photos. Piedmont Park has a plethora of beautiful scenery including stunning Japanese maple trees, redwood trees and open grassy fields that are perfect for movement – with little ones that often means running!

Exploring Around For Their Outdoor Piedmont Park Family Photos

This family of four had such a fun time exploring all around Piedmont Park. The girls loved picking dandelions and they also brought some books which the family enjoyed reading together on the park bench.

This family session fell right at golden hour with beautiful light and sweet moments between the sisters and their parents. Because this was a fall family session, golden hour happens a little earlier and often works out great for families with little ones (not too late and doesn’t cut into dinner time, bed time, etc.)
