This multi-generational family was hoping to include the grandparents in their photos, but at the last minute they were not up for participating. So instead, we captured thoughtful photos of the family of four—two adults, one teenager and a sweet dog! This family wanted photos outdoors at their house in San Francisco, so we got creative in using their backyard, deck, and stairway for a variety of images captured on film and digital. I’ve noticed there is a drop-off in family photo session bookings as kids get past the preschool or early elementary years. But I LOVE photographing tweens and teens! Even if they are less inclined to want to take photos or are total goofballs when they do, I love documenting all of it because it’s all a part of your unique kids, their personalities, and the reality of life. I love hanging with the big kids! It will be an age and stage you’ll be so glad you’ll have authentically recorded in family pictures.

I always love at-home sessions because they allow you to be in the comfort of your own space. You don’t have to leave for a photoshoot, I can come to you!
